Das Projekt We Animals der Fotografin Jo-Anne McArthur soll unseren Umgang mit nichtmenschlichen Tieren für jeden sichtbar machen. Aufgenommen in Tierfabriken, Schlachthäusern oder auf der Heimtiermesse. Bilder, welche die Unterdrückung und Ausbeutung visualisieren. We Animals is an ambitious project which documents, through photography, animals in the human environment.Humans are as much animal as the sentient beings we use for food, clothing, research, experimentation, work, entertainment, slavery and companionship With this as its premise, We Animals aims to break down the barriers that humans have built which allow us to treat non-human animals as objects and not as beings with moral significance. The objective is to photograph our interactions with animals in such a way that the viewer finds new significance in these ordinary, often unnoticed situations of use, abuse and sharing of spaces. Since the conception of the project, stories and photographs for We Animals have been shot in over 40 countries and the photos have contributed to almost 100 worldwide campaigns to end the suffering of animals. http://www.weanimals.org/

Die Londoner-Agentur “The Allotment” hat eine sehr schöne Indentity für das “DonkeySanctuary” - ein Projekt, welches sich für missbrauchte Esel engagiert - erstellt. Welweit gibt es 40 Millionen Esel. 96 % leben in Entwicklungsländern. Hier gibt es mehr zu sehen.

Hamzah, Abbie und Berlian sind Orang-Utans aus der Rehabilitationsstation Samboja Lestari, die als letztes, also am 5. Mai in den Regenwald von Kehje Sewen gebracht wurden. Heute können sie bereits zusammen mit Casey, Lesan und Mail durch die Baumkronen streifen und ein artgerechtes Leben führen. 

Bei den dreien handelt es sich um Tiere, die nach einer kompletten Rehabilitation ausgewildert werden und nun zum ersten Mal seit ihrer Kindheit im echten Dschungel leben dürfen.
